Agreement

By browsing the site, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or place an order.

Peace Nursery is a nursery based in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, India. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Peace Nursery. “You” means the person using the site or placing the order.

Your account

Checkout requires a Google account. You are responsible for activity under your signed-in session and for keeping that Google account secure. Give us accurate name, phone and address details so we can deliver and contact you about an order.

We may suspend or close an account that is used for fraud, abuse, harassment of staff, or repeated bad-faith returns.

Catalogue and living products

Product photos show real stock at the size we typically ship. Living plants vary in height, leaf count and shape; what arrives will be close to the listing, not identical to the photograph.

Prices are in Indian rupees (INR). We may correct obvious pricing or description errors and cancel an affected order with a full refund of any amount already paid.

Stock shown online is an estimate. If an item cannot be fulfilled after you pay, we will contact you and refund or replace it.

Orders and payment

An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when payment is confirmed and the order moves out of pending status. Payment is processed by Razorpay (cards, UPI and other methods Razorpay offers on checkout).

• You may cancel an order yourself while it is still Pending or Confirmed, from the order page in your account.
• After we start processing, packing or delivering, cancellation is only possible by contacting us, and we may decline if the order has already left the nursery.
• Paid amounts on a cancelled or undeliverable order are refunded to the original payment method, or as gift-card balance where the payment was made with a gift card.

Delivery

We deliver to pincodes we serve from Hazaribagh. Enter your pincode on a product or checkout page to see whether we deliver there and the estimate for that zone. Estimates are not guarantees; traffic, weather and nursery workload can change timing.

You must provide a reachable phone number and an address where someone can receive the parcel. Failed delivery because of an incorrect address or unreachable recipient may delay the order or, in repeated cases, lead to cancellation with a refund less any reasonable re-delivery cost we have already incurred.

Damage, returns and refunds

If a plant or product arrives damaged or in poor condition, tell us within 48 hours of delivery. Open the order in your account, start a return request, and send clear photos of what arrived. You do not need to ship the item back before we decide.

Where we agree the claim is valid, we will arrange a replacement or a refund. Living plants that decline after healthy delivery because of care, light, water or environment after arrival are not covered as shipping damage.

Change-of-mind returns on living plants are not offered as a standard policy. If something else went wrong with an order, contact us through chat and we will look at it case by case.

Peace Points and gift cards

Peace Points are earned when an order is delivered, not when it is paid. Points, gift cards and promotional discounts have the rules shown in your account and at checkout. They have no cash value outside the shop, are not transferable unless we say otherwise, and may be reversed if an order is refunded or cancelled.

Plant match and Dr. Green

Plant Match and Dr. Green diagnosis are guidance tools based on the information you give us. They are not a warranty that a plant will thrive in your space, and diagnosis advice does not replace professional pest or agricultural services for commercial growers.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• attempt to break, scrape abusively, or overload the site;
• upload unlawful, harmful or infringing content;
• impersonate another person or misuse another customer’s account;
• use the site for any purpose that is illegal in India.

Intellectual property

The Peace Nursery name, logo, site design, product photography and written content belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written permission. Reviews and photos you submit may be shown on the site in connection with the product.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Indian law, Peace Nursery is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss (including lost profits or data) arising from use of the site or from an order. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order.

Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under Indian consumer-protection law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date on this page will change when we do. If you continue to use the site after an update, the new terms apply to that use. For an order already placed, the terms in force when you paid generally apply to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer rights, courts in Jharkhand have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or your use of the site.
